AGCRA Iron Mike Chapter's Quarterly Highway Cleanup

Featured image

On Saturday, 8 February 2025, the AGCRA Iron Mike Chapter completed its first quarterly cleanup of 2025 along its adopted 1-mile stretch of the All-American Highway, just two miles outside of Fort Liberty’s main gate.

Sixteen Chapter and Family members helped police the roadside for litter. Once again, members came together and made an impact!

The Chapter welcomed its newest member – SGT R.J. Lester. Several key AG senior leaders were also present, including COL Gretchen Gardner, LTC Liz Kent, and LTC Pete Guerdan.

Bonds were forged, valuable information was shared, and friendships strengthened at yet another successful event! The highway cleanup marked the final event for SFC Edjenik Uzcategui before she departed for Drill Sergeant School. In true leadership fashion, her Soldiers accompanied her during the cleanup, leading by example. She has been a phenomenal Chapter team member and will sorely be missed.

Fort Liberty Team AG continues to grow – taking care of each other so we may better serve our units and our community. A special thanks to each of our volunteers for taking time out of their weekend to invest in our Corps and make a difference in our community!
