On 25 September 2025, the Adjutant General’s Corps Regimental Association (AGCRA) conducted a virtual Public Relations Training Session for Chapter Presidents and Public Relations Vice Presidents. The training focused on improving chapter communication and highlighting the many opportunities available for sharing the great work happening across the Corps.
Participants learned that submissions to the 1775 Journal now count toward points in the Chapter Recognition Contest—a valuable way to both showcase excellence and strengthen chapter standings. It was also announced that 1775 has fully transitioned to a digital format and is no longer printed. Beginning soon, a call for articles will be issued, specifically geared toward professional topics relevant to the AG community. The production goal for 1775 is three editions each year.
The AGCRA Weekly Newsletter continues to serve as a platform for sharing chapter-level events such as LPDs, breakfasts, and community outreach. Both the newsletter and 1775 rely heavily on member and chapter submissions.
For contributions:
Newsletter submissions (photos and article write-ups) should be sent to: public-relations@agcra.com or newsletter@agcra.com
1775 Journal submissions should be sent to: magazine@agcra.com or editor@agcra.com
This training reinforced the importance of proactive communication and collaboration in telling the AGCRA story and showcasing the Corps’ impact.
