Additional Information on the AG250 Virtual Race Registration

Registration (click the link HERE) is required if you want to own the distinctive AG250 medal designed as part of our collective celebration of the upcoming 250th Anniversary of the AG Corps in 2025.  A one-time registration allows you to participate in any of the fitness AG250 challenges throughout the year. So how does this work? Well, you have some options:

Option #1. You don’t feel like doing any of the fitness challenges, but are willing to support the AGCRA’s Scholarship Program. You register and receive the medal. No strings attached.

Option #2. You register to receive the AG250 medal. You choose the type of fitness activity that best fits your desire and capability, and provide the distance or time and the number of instances. It is your personal goal and, hopefully, something you had in mind to try doing but have never gotten around to doing so.

Option #3. You enjoy fitness activities but don’t think you should do so in a competitive manner. You can register to receive the AG250 medal. And then, you select which event you want to try as a personal challenge. Maybe invite a friend, neighbor, family member, or co-worker, and test your ability to complete the event. It’s just you against yourself!

Option #4. You compete in an event with your AG Unit or AGCRA Chapter. Let's say your AG Unit or AGCRA Chapter wants to use one of the events as a fun, team-building event. Unit Commanders / Chapter Presidents, if this is what you want to do, please send the AGCRA National Executive Council (NEC) photos of those who participated with a caption. Hopefully, they all register for an AG250 medal and can show off their medals in team photos.

Option #5. You have that competitive spirit and are always looking for a good challenge. Pay attention to our messaging on the upcoming events, use an appropriate fitness device to track your progress, and email your results to AG250VR@gmail.com based on the NLT date for each event.

Regardless, we would love to see photos of all of you and your team when you get together as an AG Unit or AGCRA Chapter. It’s a 250th celebration, and birthday celebrations typically involve a lot of pictures.  Don’t forget to include the AG250 medals in those pictures too!
