The Human Resources Operations Center (HROC) of U.S. Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF), in partnership with the Senior Leader Training Division (SLTD) of the Adjutant General School, successfully executed two training sessions focused on the newest version of the Medical Planners’ Toolkit (MPTk), version 1.9. This updated version brings significant enhancements including streamlined inputs for personnel replacement TOE document identification and fixed base protection level adjustments. The training reached 24 personnel across 15 different organizations, enhancing HR and medical planners’ ability to visualize casualty projections and align personnel replacement operations within the theater.

This training was made possible through the initiative of HROC leadership — LTC Christina Crittenden (HROC Director), SGM Alfredo Vasquez (HROC SGM), and MAJ Clifton Barnett — who prioritized bringing this capability forward to better support theater-level personnel readiness planning. CW2 Guillermo Figueroa facilitated all logistical coordination and originally reached out to SLTD to request the course. Their combined efforts ensured a successful training event that continues to modernize and integrate HR readiness tools in support of Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO).
