CW4 Jessie Morlan, a seasoned Bandmaster and current Warrant Officer Historical Foundation (WOHF) Fellow, is continuing a powerful tradition of storytelling through the Cohort W podcast. Originally launched by former Army Band Proponent CW5 (Ret.) Russell Houser, Cohort W was created to support the WOHF’s mission of preserving the oral history of the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Corps.
Now in its fourth season, the podcast continues to amplify the voices of Warrant Officers across the Army, past and present. CW4 Morlan—drawing from his 30+ years of experience as both a leader and musician—uses the platform to spotlight leadership journeys, PME modernization efforts, and the enduring legacy of the Corps.
Cohort W has proudly featured numerous Adjutant General (AG) Corps Warrant Officers, including former Command Chief Warrant Officers of the AG Corps CW5 Chad Bowen and CW5 (Ret.) Mark Hickman, as well as CW5 Charmaine Hilliard, CW4 Ronald Carrion, and other AG professionals. Their episodes reflect the diversity, innovation, and influence of the AG Warrant Officer community.
