The AGCRA Lone Star Chapter recently recognized several outstanding AGs for their steadfast service to the Army, III Corps, and 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Cavazos, TX.
Pictured above, SGM Daniel Cruz, III Corps G1 Sergeant Major, was presented the 1st Cavalry Division G1 coin by LTC Yakena Douglas on behalf of SGM Sue Ellyn Baker, in recognition of conducting a Leader’s Professional Development (LPD) session for the Division. During the visit, SGM Cruz led a Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development (NCODP) session for the Human Resources professionals of the 1st Cavalry Division, offering valuable mentorship and professional insight.
Pictured above, congratulations to LTC George T. Gordon, Jr.! LTC Gordon, Battalion Commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, DIVARTY, 1st Cavalry Division, was awarded the Major General Horatio Gates Honorary Medal for his outstanding support and dedication to the Adjutant General's Corps. His leadership and contributions over the years at Fort Cavazos have made a positive lasting impact — well deserved!
