Congratulations to SFC Dwight Williams!

SFC Williams (3rd from the right below) of the 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade (3rd SFAB) was recently presented with his PCS award and plaque in recognition of his dedicated service. As he closes this chapter of his AG career, he will be taking his talents to the 89th Military Police Brigade, where he will serve as the Brigade S1 NCOIC.

We thank SFC Williams for his outstanding contributions and leadership within 3rd SFAB and his continued support of the AGCRA Lone Star Chapter. We wish him continued success in his new role as S1 NCOIC.

On 12 June 2025, the 502nd HR Company (group photos are below) provided outstanding support by manifesting 1st Cavalry Division troops for their trip and participation in the Army Birthday Parade within the National Capital Region.

Attending the National AG Ball was truly bittersweet as we watched COL (Ret) Rob Manning and COL (Ret) Bob Ortiz accept their well-deserved recognition and graciously retire from the AGCRA National Executive Council. Over 1,000 AGs and Family members attended the National AG Ball this year!

Lone Star Chapter members also had the opportunity to network and meet some fantastic people, both 42s and others. Overall, the National Ball was simply beautiful and majestic.

Also, a special shout-out to MAJ (Ret) Patrick Davis, the AGCRA Iron Mike Chapter President. We are so grateful for your continued support, wisdom, resources, and positive outlook, as always!

And, huge thank you to CW2 Dafeney Williams and SSG Victor Smith from the 1st Cavalry Division G1 for being part of the Volunteer Team that helped make the National AG Ball a huge success. Both of these AGs stepped up as ushers, ensuring everything ran smoothly and guests were welcomed with a smile.
